Role & Function
Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) is part of the Global CMC, Science & Technology Department (GCSAT).

GCSAT is responsible for optimization and life cycle management of Sobis clinical and commercial manufacturing processes from internal and external network.

MSAT ensures compliant, reliable, cost effective and sustainable manufacturing of our products now and in future.

The MSAT team holds the senior scientific and technical knowledge for the manufacturing of Sobis clinical and commercial products and is responsible for always keeping the internal and external manufacturing processes in a validated stage.

Key Responsibilities

Leads the biologics team and associated manufacturing and technology related topics.
Leads the Subject matter experts (SMEs) for biological DS & DP.
Accountability for DS/DP validation for Sobi Large Molecules products.
Oversight on CMO activities in regards to manufacturing process together with the SMEs for DS and DP.
Lead and execute MSAT projects such as manufacturing process and cost improvement as part of LCM.

Qualifications

University education in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or similar.

- +10 years of experience of development and manufacturing of DS and DP for clinical and commercial use.

In depth experience in leading of teams.
Demonstrable experience of leading and working in cross functional teams with ability to multi task, prioritize and be an effective decision maker.
Scientific and technical background of CMC development and manufacturing of large molecules Drug Substance & Drug Product.
Recognized expert in drug substance and / or drug product manufacturing.
In addition, you must demonstrate behaviors in line with Sobi's core values: Care, Ambition, Urgency, Ownership and Partnership.
