    About the role

    : The primary purpose of this role is to support monitoring work within the Environment Team under the guidance of the Superintendent. This involves ensuring compliance monitoring is completed to schedule, non-compliances are reported as per approval requirements, weekly/monthly/annual reporting is completed in a timely manner consistent with environment approvals and assisting with key projects within the Environment Team.

    The ideal applicant for the role should possess:
    • Environmental Science Degree (or equivalent).
    • Sound knowledge of relevant environmental regulatory requirements within the Northern Territory.
    • At least five years relevant experience working in the Environmental Science sector.
    • The ability to work independently and as a team, and as directed by the Superintendent.
    • Proficient skills in report writing and reviewing, and competency in the Microsoft Office suite.
    • The ability to complete work to a high standard, and in line with the requirements provided by the Superintendent.
    • A strong safety focus and experience with hazard identification and risk control.
