Role:

The General Partner (AKA "GP") will be entrepreneurial and be instrumental in launching the companies first venture fund, raising funds from LPs, and managing the portfolio from investment to exit.

The GP will receive economics and GP ownership commensurate with experience level and expected contribution. The GP's stake will scale with subsequent vintages.


Requirements:

Ideal experience in small to medium sized funds as a GP where you managed a team and developed new solutions, standards, and processes.

Board experience and portfolio management experience, including managing founder relationships and advising founders on strategic issues would serve this role well.

• Natural networker with an extensive network within with accelerators, coinvestors and startups in at least one European VC hub (i.e., UK / France / DACH / Nordics)
• Independent, solutionoriented thinker, with creative problemsolving and selfstarter mindset
• Excellent and empathic communicator (written and verbal) with diverse target groups
• Ability to work and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment
• Full professional proficiency in English as a must, other languages welcomed

Responsibilities / Tasks:

• Develop investment thesis across multiple verticals, clean energy, new materials, alternative proteins
• Cultivate deep relationships with top Accelerators, VC/Corporate Partners, and leading ecosystem enablers
• Build and nurture coinvestor relationships and forge Tier 1 coinvestor syndicates for new investments and rounds in the portfolio
• Take responsibility across the whole investment process, deal origination, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, execution, impactmanagement
• Drive firstticket investment discussions and decisions
• Lead followon investment due diligence, and presentation to the Investment Committee
• Support portfolio companies postinvestment and drive exit opportunities
• Manage the portfolio diversification and fund allocation
• Manage, expand, & develop the investment team of analysts, associates, and principals ensuring a steep learning curve
• Support internal companybuilding and operational success of Seven Lanes as it scales by contributing to workflows & projects
