Emirates SkyCargo Switzerland is looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused individual to join our small but multi-cultural team of professionals in Zurich as a Cargo Agent.

Role Responsibilities:
- Based close to Zurich Airport, this challenging position combines Customer Service and Operational responsibilities.
- Process customer booking requests and offer best possible solution considering revenue, contribution and capacity opportunities or constraints.
- Monitor and oversee the service provided by our Ground Handling Agent to ensure it is in line with EK standards, including cargo building instruction, maximization of available space, safety compliance and special handling requirements.
- Complete administrative duties as directed by the Cargo Supervisor, including data entry, statistics and reports
- Provide support in cargo commercial and operational activities as required.
Experience, Qualifications and Competencies:
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent level of education
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English and German
- Applicants must be eligible to live and work in Switzerland
- A valid Driving Licence is a requirement
- Willing and able to work shifts, including some evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Customer Service oriented.
- Flexible, "can do" Team player and motivated to continuously learn new things in a dynamic environment
Advantageous to have but not essential (attitude and willingness to learn is most important):
- Understanding of dangerous goods and pharmaceutical shipping procedures
- Knowledge and experienced user of computerized reservations system
- Previous knowledge and experience within air cargo and/or airport operations segments with an airline, forwarder or handler
