_Enterprise Sales Lead - Americas_


Energy Web is hiring an Enterprise Sales Lead - Americas
reporting to the Regional Director with a flexible working location.

This position will work to drive Energy Web commercial operations and be responsible for closing projects with major energy market participants to build and deploy solutions on top of the open-source Energy Web stack.


The new talent will join the Commercial team in developing the company's vision and short and long-term strategies, and s/he will then be completely responsible for the execution of the business in collaboration with the Regional Director, Americas.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Understand the Americas utility and electricity markets and related ecosystems (DERs, DERMs, VPPs, etc.)
  • Research and help define our gotomarket approach (product, pricing, partnerships)
  • Develop a strategic account list and market sizing for the Americas
  • Engage directly with prospects and customers (for discovery, sales) and close deals.
  • Work closely with the Product team to identify and address gaps in our products and solutions, any needs for localization and areas of required customization.
  • Work with internal leaders of Operations and Technology to ensure we can deliver on customer projects/ deployments.
  • Contribute to overall market knowledge through providing analysis and information on competitive landscape and other factors as deemed relevant.
  • Deliver against regional targets and plans.

Desired Skills and Experience

_ Your Experience:
_


  • Minimum 6 years work experience in or with the energy sector in customerfacing roles
  • Deep domain knowledge of the electricity sector including the changing regulatory and policy landscape underpinning the transition towards efficiency and renewables.
  • An existing professional network of contacts in the energy sector.
  • Business development experience, ideally with energy market participants.

  • Possess demonstrated general management skills, with an emphasis on the ability to grow business through balancing delivery of existing projects and services, while developing new services, clients and/or geographies.
  • Able to work effectively with customers at the Clevel, as well as midmanagement. May already know our clients and potential clients, but if not, must be adept at working with them.
  • Strategic thinker. Able to synthesize information. Able to find solutions to complex, multidisciplinary problems.
  • Leading by example, identifying key performers in the business and able to coach and motivate our talented employee base.
  • Able to communicate and present to all levels of our business.
  • A true selfstarter, with a driven, cando attitude.
  • Strong ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
