We are looking for an experienced yet hands-on Financial Management Professional who is passionate about heading the finance function and team of financial experts to support the growth and profitability of Julius Baer's global External Asset Managers (Intermediaries) Business.

In your role, you will act as sparring partner and gatekeeper for all finance related aspects vis-à-vis the business and senior management and report directly to the CFO Switzerland & EMEA and Intermediaries.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

Head the Finance team for the global Intermediaries Business and drive the development and enhancement of respective function and framework
Lead financial planning, forecasting and performance management processes
Oversee financial reporting and identify & drive implementation of ongoing enhancements for the purpose of performance steering
Coordinate and manage all finance topics and aspects for the Intermediaries business and liaise with different expert functions of the global Finance Division (e.g. Financial Accounting, Treasury, Capital Management, Credit)
Provide financial analysis and act as a sparring partner to the business, with direct exposure to senior management and key stakeholders across the bank
Anticipate financial trends & performance at an early stage, identify and initiate strategic cost & revenue initiatives to support the Intermediaries Business in achieving the financial objectives
Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate & meaningful financial reporting and continuously improve analytics and reporting capabilities, lead projects to systematically enhance existing methods & framework
Conduct business case assessments and prepare presentations for senior management
Participate and contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plans

YOUR PROFILE:

Strong academic record: University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or comparable field of study with aboveaverage grades
Good knowledge and understanding of the (Private) Banking / External Asset Managers business and financial markets
Profound experience in financial management processes (e.g. controlling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, transfer pricing etc.) incl. sound understanding of how different drivers influence costs, revenues and the balance sheet of the business
Several years of experience in a comparable or similar function within the banking or financial services industry incl. leadership experience
Willingness to take responsibility and drive own initiatives while acting with care and diligence
Independent, proactive, and handson work style with a resultsoriented mindset and high attention to quality and detail
Strong personal drive with good organizational and multitasking skills as well as ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Effective leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate and shape a team of finance professionals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders that have different views and expectations
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problemsolving skills with ability to identify, design and negotiate pragmatic and yet effective solutions
Excellent Excel skills with affinity for data handling & business intelligence tools
Strong Presentation and PowerPoint / data visualization skills
Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus
