1 ABOUT MSC

MSC continues to invest and lead the world container market with ships, an extensive container fleet, intermodal and dedicated staff for its customers.

The Company's evolution to its leading brand needs consistency to market, and therefore it is paramount to standardise data, processes and management information.

2 THE ROLE

Within the OneVision BI Team and under its governance, the BI Business Specialist (MSC Agency background) mission is to work within the BI Team to provide analysis, design, deployment for BI solutions, implementing project good practices and quality processes.

The functional specialist will be the link between the BI team and the business stakeholders.

Working with cross-functional teams, you will be required to gather, document, and approve

business requirements for data analysis and reporting projects, as well as use BI and database

tools to develop reporting solutions to meet business needs.

3 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 CONTRIBUTION

Business analysis to gather required BI system requirements
Translate business requirements into specifications
Design dashboards mockups
Identify priorities with Business Stakeholders
Run UAT sessions with users
Test internal reporting
Animate functional BI training sessions

3.2 ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide timely, complete and accurate responses to the management and inquiries in a positive and constructive manner.
Complete ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Company.
Proactively communicate relevant opportunities, risks, and issues to the management;
Participate defining and implementing BI project good practices and quality processes;

HR line-reporting to the BI Functional Specialist Team Leader

4 PERFORMANCE SKILLS
