Overview:


As a global Monitoring and Automation Leader you will be responsible for establishing global standards for both of these critical tech capabilities at the Command Center level.

Define the roadmap to adoption and ensure its adherence with required capabilities to ensure an end user experience focus.

Works closely with the Architecture team to ensure new technologies are delivered with in these capabilities to plug and play to existing landscape and solutions.

Ensures that monitoring and automation increases the general capability to foresee and react to events and incidents. Interacts with Command Center Ops leader to collect feedback and define priorities. Manages a team of 2 specialists and creates opportunity to leverage third partners capabilities to deliver. Act as an ambassador of innovation bringing best in class solutions to our operations.


Essential Functions

  • Provide tactical and operational leadership within the monitoring and automation services for the Command Center.
  • Deliver the roadmap adopting an agile mindset and tool set.
  • Collaborate to define global architecture, standards and roadmap monitoring and automation services.
  • Responsible for global direct vendors relationship management
  • Negotiate and review vendor contracts (financial, technical, etc.)
  • Manage all related vendor contractual obligations with regard to daytoday operations, quality of suppliers' deliverables against SLAs.
  • Analyzing subcontracting offers (services, budget, human resources, special clauses, contracts, etc...)
  • Assign resources on projects, activities and development work streams
  • Deliver global roadmap, project objectives, SLAs and budget discipline.
  • Manage the global monitoring and automation services budget.
  • Oversee the preparation and effective management of the annual operating budget.
  • Manage monitoring and automation services department subfunction/resources including:
  • Managing the team of direct reports
  • Recruit, hire and develop new team members as required by organizational needs
  • Skill inventory and training plan
  • Create functional strategies and specific objectives for the subfunction
  • Develop work methods and appropriate adherence to best practices (operations management, project management, etc)
  • Facilitate work by ensuring adequate tools, services and facilities are in place
  • Inspire an open minded, service oriented and agile attitude
  • Plans department calendar and creates operational and performance goals
  • Ensure effective collaboration and mutual benefits with other global and regional groups and departments
  • Liaise with stakeholders and ensure continuous improvement of monitoring and automation services services, products and solutions.
  • Analyzes technology industry and market trends and determines potential impact upon the enterprise
  • Identifies cross portfolio proactive and reactive opportunities
  • Participate as Project Manager whenever necessary.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in information technology related areas
  • MBA or other postgraduation is a differential.
years of senior leadership and minimum 10 years of experience in complex enterprise environments

  • 10+ years of IT work experience in a multinational environment.
  • 10+ years of experience designing and delivering global infrastructure projects from concept to operation.
  • 3+ years of experience in management of multicultural teams
  • Results oriented and strong trackrecord for on time delivery
