This position is located at our corporate office in Baar, Switzerland.


Overview:


The Director of Revenue Strategy establishes analytics and methods to measure and forecast demand and market conditions, identify operational deficiencies, and develop effective and data-driven pricing strategies.

Reporting into the Head of Global Distribution, but with close coordination with the CRM & Business Intelligence team to ensure strategies are aligned with all functions across the organization, including marketing and sales, to achieve revenue targets and grow demand.


Responsibilities:


Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise a scope of 30+ luxury hotels worldwide
  • Oversee total revenue management and distribution strategy for the group
  • Define annual objectives for revenue managers in coordination with Head of Global Distribution, CRM & Business Intelligence team and the CCO.
  • Develop, deploy, and measure strategic and tactical revenue management initiatives for the group entities to improve revenue, profit, and market share.
Analysis & support hotels

  • To provide strategic analysis and input for the CCO and Head of Global Distribution, as well as the wider Commercial team including Head of CRM & BI and Head of Digital & eCommerce
  • Daily pickup analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting to the Head of Global Distribution and local teams
  • Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends.
  • Ensure that Aman segments its customers efficiently across all properties to successfully optimise the revenue streams in both high and low seasons.
  • Ensure hotels are always bookable and make sure no restrictions in any platform block customers from booking a room.
  • Responsible for best practice standards to include: competitor analysis; environmental scanning; market modelling; distribution yield management; business mix yield management; length of stay yield
  • Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel.
  • Provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.
  • Utilize all tools to evaluate the hotels position with respect to competition in terms of pricing, market mix strategy, understands the dynamic of the local market and the demand generators, and recommends appropriate actions in relation to the hotels pricing and market mix strategy.
  • Responsible for assessing, analysing and pricing group business strategies
  • Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies.
  • Responsible for best practice standards to include: competitor analysis; environmental scanning; market modelling; distribution yield management; business mix yield management; length of stay yield
management; inventory availability by channel; pricing control and new pricing concepts

  • Develop, communicate, and deploy revenue management initiatives to revenue managers, and field team as applicable.
  • Interpret historical and current data and trends to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Assess current and future business performance to develop monthly revenue forecast.
  • Support the competitor pricing benchmarking.
  • To identify potential new opportunities to improve revenue performance
OTA Partnerships Development

  • To manage Online Travel Agency accounts ensuring their compliance with internal standards
  • To ensure that every OTA website always displays correct information
  • To manage approved OTA partners Internet listings
  • To produce channel performance reports on a monthly basis
  • To produce regular SWOT analysis of costs, highlighting any threats and opportunities
  • To use uptodate methods and appropriate procedures with regards to technologies and costs
Systems and Data

  • To maintain a consistent selling strategy across the Central Reservation system (CRS), Property Management System (PMS) and thirdparty online systems, ensuring maximum use of
