Cargo Reporting Controller
We are searching for an experienced Cargo Reporting Controller at our MSC Geneva - Geneva facility.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Cargo Reporting Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the Cargo Reporting Manager in driving monthly financial reporting and performance review processes.

Your role will involve coordinating with various teams, including Regional Accounting Controllers, Business Controllers, Cost Controllers, and Group Reporting teams, to ensure the accurate production of shipping management reports.

You will:

Drive monthly financial reporting/performance review together with the Cargo Reporting Manager and the Regional Accounting Team, coordinating the production of Shipping managements reports across various teams (Business controllers, Cost Controllers, Group Reporting team).
Conduct a quarterly balance sheet analysis, identify process issue, detail the root causes and the impact on the balance sheet, and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in creating a clear and consistent narrative of Shipping monthly financial performance.
Conduct thorough analysis to support the enhancement of documentation related to accounting policies, procedures, and controls, working closely with the Accounting Processes and Controls Manager.
Contribute to the improvement, standardization, and harmonization of group analysis to elevate the management reporting process.

Required Qualifications:

YOUR BACKGROUND

Master's degree in Finance / Accounting / Controlling / Audit.
Accounting qualification is highly desirable (CPA, ACCA, CFA...).
Minimum of 35 years' experience in Big 4 (Audit, Transaction Services) or similar position in other international groups.
Proactive with the ability to identify issues before they develop into problems; proactively resolving issues directly or through escalation to appropriate teams.
High attention to detail and quality.
Good communication to ensure proper presentation of group financial information.
Handson however organized and structured.
Ability to take decisions to ensure proper solutions get delivered.
Profound knowledge in both IFRS and Swiss accounting according to Swiss Code of Obligation
Strong team spirit and proven ability to work in and with multisite teams.
