About Straumann Villeret SA


At our sites in Villeret and Corgémont, more than 900 employees are dedicated to the manufacture, inspection and other logístical tasks related to the implants, prosthetic parts and instruments produced by the company.

In this role, you will be joining a fast-growing company that offers a wide range of job opportunities.

Our multi-disciplinary Human Resources team is composed of HR Partners who support the line, Join team in charge of recruiting our future employees and branding, and an HR Services team in charge of all administrative and payroll management.

We are looking for our Head of HR, acting as site lead team member and leading the HRBP team.


JOB PURPOSE and RESPONSIBILITIES


As member of the local leadership team your will partner with Straumann Villeret SA leaders and employees to drive the people agenda for the site, in close collaboration with global and regional HR stakeholders.

You will provide strategic and tactical partnering to the business and will be the main point of contact for the full spectrum of HR-related topics, balancing the needs of the local organization with the policies and practices of the Straumann Group HR Operating Model, to support the scalability of business and organizational growth plans.


  • Build and lead a high performing digitally savvy local HR organization that delivers state of the art local HR support within the global HR Operating Model
  • Act as a strategic partner, coach, mentor, and advisor to the Site Lead Team to enable them to deliver performance through their people in line with Straumann Group's strategy, purpose, vision and core beliefs.
  • Design, implement and establish HR strategies, initiatives and directions to support business and people needs
  • Implement and facilitate annual HR processes (Budgeting, Workforce Planning, Performance Management and Annual Compensation Review)
  • Drive the cultural journey (high performance playerlearner culture) to reinforce the sense of belonging within the global Straumann Group
  • Create and evolve HR policies and guidelines in line with global HR policies and programs and act as local change agent for the global HR transformation
  • Manage employee relation issues, partner with the Head of Site and Lead team to lead the dialogue with the internal / external stakeholders and promote employee engagement through targeted actions, including communication activities for the site
  • Develop and implement human capital and talent development plans with focus on talent retention, succession planning and leadership capabilities together with your global and regional GROW (talent, learning & development) partners
  • Act as a sparring partner drive and influence a positive employee (life) experience across all moments that matter by enabling the business leaders
  • Partner with JOIN (talent acquisition team) to hire highly skilled talents
  • Provide a highly responsive HR support to a fast paced global and agile business
  • Participate in global projects/initiatives/programs and work closely together with the Corporate HR team and regional teams as appropriate

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Degree in HR management, Business Administration, Law, Applied Psychology or similar
  • Broad experience as a HR Business Partner with a track record gained in customer oriented, multinational business environment, preferably experience in an operations / manufacturing setting
  • Strategic mindset paired with high sense for execution, teamwork and cando attitude
  • Effective communication and persuasion skills to interact across different levels
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to build trust and drive engagements in others in a changing environment
  • Collaborative, empathetic and solutionoriented individual
  • Accountable personality with a structured and pragmatic working style
  • Fluency in French and English is a must
