Competences

  • Ensure the support of all industrial IT equipment
  • Lead or participate to projects related to IT equipment
  • Participate and support qualification / validation of GMP systems
  • Ensure great communication and strong collaboration with other department and suppliers
  • Manage / put in place the IT documentation accordingly GMP, GAMP and other regulations

Skills/Knowledge Required:


  • At least 5 years of experience in IT Support, with several years' experience in a leadership position
  • 3 years' experience in IT support of system in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Experience in directly managing small teams or relevant project
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills both in French and English
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel
  • Excellent analytical and report writing skills
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, negotiation, collaboration and communication ability
  • Fluency in oral and written communication in English. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Capable of working under pressure in a multicultural environment, at any level of the hierarchy, effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a planned and structured manner in order to ensure the correct prioritization of all support activities
  • IT GMP Support / Service Desk experience of all aspects of enduser support.
  • Solid technical understanding of all aspects of running a GMP oriented helpdesk including Microsoft software, active directory, hardware, etc
  • Conceptual & practical understanding of IT Support fundamentals. ITIL experience and knowledge is a definite plus
  • Knowledge of helpdesk software is mandatory
  • Knowledge of GAMP is mandatory
  • Experience in change management, product release, version control, and configuration and hardware inventory management
  • Knowledge of specific manufacturing systems (Serialization software, Building management System, Room Monitoring System, etc)
  • Basic knowledge of automated equipment concept
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, Visual Basic, C++, HTML, etc)
  • Basic knowledge of automation software (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc)
  • Knowledge of Data base SQL is mandatory
  • Knowledge of industrial network is mandatory
  • Basic knowledge in electricity and electronic topics

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Support all local activities related to ensuring that manufacturing IT equipment are up and running in partnership with all existing IT Support teams of the site
  • Serve as liaison between Service Desk, local IT mgmt., and key customers contacts. Facilitate and ensure communication throughout all members of the team
  • Lead and/or participate to industrial IT projects
  • Participate and support qualification / validation of GMP systems
  • Liaise with Manufacturing equipment supplier user and maintenance to coordinate remote assistance on equipment until diagnostic or resolution
  • Work in close collaboration with the other IT support teams to ensure escalated calls are adequately addressed
  • Improve the support service constantly by implementing innovative & pragmatic solutions in providing the needed support, software and hardware to our customers including the performance of random followups on closed calls as required
  • Drive delivery of IT component of project
  • Manage the documentation related to IT topics
  • Ensure support of audits as Subject Matter Expert for systems
  • Propose improvement and new technology vision
