Associate Business Development Manager - Zurich
Convera is seeking an Associate Business Development Manager, who will be responsible for the sales of hedging solutions and exotic payments within our NGO vertical


You will be responsible for:


  • Performing market analysis, attending on and offline events, and supporting sales campaigns.
  • Influencing clients from the owner of a startup to the finance director or chief executive officer of a large, established corporation.
  • Using consultative selling techniques to understand the challenges that our prospects face when trading overseas, providing bespoke solutions, and progress towards securing sustainable, profitable trading relationships.
  • Assisting throughout the sales cycle, and be the primary point of contact for the new customers acquired.
  • Collaborating with colleagues from different departments within Convera.
  • Strong desire to grow into a professional sales role.
  • Experience using the principles of consultative selling and customer acquisition (including networking events, trade fairs, cold calling, etc,).
  • Foreign Exchange/Financial Services background desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work individually, and to collaborate with others in a fastpaced, team environment, making quick decisions, and managing timelines.
  • Previous experience working towards key performance indicators and individual targets to achieve weekly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Motivated, and proactive, bringing the enthusiasm and interest for the requirements of a successful international company.
  • Must have a fluent level of French, German and English.
