    We are looking for a Product Manager Digital Services (m/f/d) for our location in Ettlingen (DE) or Faellanden (CH).

    Responsibilities

    We are seeking a Product Manager with a strong technical background and proven experience in digital services to lead our portfolio, which includes remote diagnostics , predictive maintenance , and AI-assisted service . The successful candidate will be responsible for developing product strategies, planning and executing growth initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs.

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for our digital services products.
  • Collaborate with engineering and software development teams to deliver high-quality products that align with our vision and meet market needs.
  • Support the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process by contributing to the development core team and gathering required information for gate reviews.
  • Own Product Requirement Documents, based on understanding of user needs derived from Services Portfolio Management, field sales, field service and cross-market research.
  • Plan and manage usability testing, serviceability testing, beta tests, and application lab equipment.
  • Create value propositions for new product ideas and/or product changes, and own and validate business cases.
  • Act as a product referent supporting Services Portfolio Management and Sales to drive product market share and develop product sales and market strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends in collaboration with market intelligence team
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, value-based pricing models, and product positioning.
  • Define and monitor key performance metrics to ensure product success.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical execution.
  • Lead the planning, development, and launch of new digital services in collaboration with engineering, design, and marketing teams.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field .
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in digital services.
  • Experience in product lifecycle management.
  • English (min C1 Level) and German (min. B2 Level) knowledge
  • Familiarity with remote diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and AI-assisted service.
  • Understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA/PhD or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in the IoT or industrial automation industry.
  • Technical background with knowledge of software development, web technologies, and cloud solutions.
