Student Assistant position - Lecture preparation for Data Science in Pharma:

The goal of this paid student assistant position is to assist in preparing a new lecture on data science and machine learning for students in pharmaceutical sciences.

Job description:

Preparation of lecture slides explaining the basics of machine learning to students with little programming and data science experience.
Preparation of code and Jupyter notebook for demonstration during the lecture.
The position has a workload of approximately 210h/week in a limited contract for 24 months, with possibility of prolongation for 12 months. The work can be partially conducted remotely.

Your profile:

For this we are looking for someone who fulfills most of the following criteria:

registered as student in Swiss university with permit to work max. 15h/week

- extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in data science and machine learning algorithms

IT and programming skills to set up Jupyter notebook for demonstration purposes

- ability to understandably explain data science and machine learning to non-experts
- basic knowledge in biology and/or pharmaceutical sciences is desirably
