Are you passionate about Architecture and Technology? Do you want to work in an agile, self-organized environment where collaboration, trust, and innovation are paramount? Would you like to establish and maintain an Architectural vision for the Index domain and enable technology to achieve it?

Within the Swiss exchange, Index IT is responsible for calculating all our indices such as "SMI" with high precision. We are an international team with more than 10 nationalities and are expanding to become a global index provider.

Our index platform is of great importance to SIX as it is tightly coupled with the exchange:
neither can run without the other.

What You Will Do:

- ensure architecture activities, decisions and recommendations are motivated by clear business benefits with transparency on risks
- establish and maintain an architecture repository for Index in accordance with the agreed enterprise architecture framework
- contribute to project ideas, projects, demands, and PoC's
- analyze and translate business, information, technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve the business objectives
- communicate, present and iterate architectural views and supporting material with development teams, management, and business stakeholders

What You Bring:

7+ years of experience and a background of working with enterprise/solutions architecture

- experience with architecting secure solutions, microservices and APIs
- experience of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, DevOps) and requirements engineering is expected
- solid understanding of the Index sector or Financial markets/trading experience, including related business processes
- excellent communication in English, presentation and interpersonal skills
