We are seeking a Global Risk Based Internal Audit Lead to promote and lead a quality driven culture across Covance Central Laboratory Services.

The role involves regular internal and external audits, verification that all operations meet relevant standards/good practice guidelines, and acting as a consultant on all quality issues.

This position also may lead and/or support departmental and/or company Special Projects/Initiatives.

This position will be filled with an experienced individual who promotes and leads a quality driven culture across Covance Central Laboratory Services.

The role involves regular internal and external audits, verification that all operations meet relevant standards/good practice guidelines, and acting as a consultant on all quality issues.

This position also may lead and/or support departmental and/or company Special Projects/Initiatives.

Duties will include the following:

Develop/Revise SOPs and Other Documents
Host or Support Regulatory Audits
Support and Participate Regulatory Audits
Perform/Support Internal audits
Train and/or mentor other QA Associates and QA Specialists
Lead departmental and/or company special projects/initiatives
Lead Process Improvement Initiatives
Provide CAIR/RI support
Provide Regulatory/Industry/Company guidance support
Support departmental and/or company Special Projects/Initiatives
Provide QMS Tool development & support
Support and participate on companion diagnostic studies
Perform trending & risk assessments
Identify process improvement opportunities

Minimum Experience Required:

High School Required
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent experience, preferably in a life

science or related discipline preferred

5 or more years of experience in the job discipline or in other

quality/compliance roles

Preferred working experience in in any of the following:
Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
College of American Pathologists (CAP)
Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)
