We are looking for an independent personality who enjoys working in a very dynamic environment and with an affinity for
digital transformation and good understanding of
the new business models that are enabled through digitalisation.

Reporting to Berlinger's VP Finance, this is a newly created position with a strong focus on Business Controlling.

Business Controlling will be further developed to cover the majority of business processes in the organisation, particularly the commercial processes (sales, distribution and procurement), the industrial processes (production and operations), the R&D and Engineering processes and support functions (HR, IT, etc.).


Your main tasks:


  • Proactive business partner in the HQ in Ganterschwil and to the international subsidiaries in US and NL
  • Financial sparring partner for the VP Finance and the rest of the Executive Team
  • Leading the planning process and being responsible for its operational and contentrelated design in coordination with internal contacts
  • Ensure timely and complete preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements on cost accounting
  • Responsible for the setup, operation and development of controlling in the areas of sales, production, logistics, finance and cost accounting, including Analysis of deviations and pursuit of corrective measures, Develop controlling tools, methodologies and reportings
  • Represent the controlling function as key user as part of the key user community and in upcoming ERP projects

Your profile:


  • Wellfounded basic education with specialized further education (FA Accountant/Controller) or a higher education (Bachelor/Master's degree)
  • Proven knowhow and several years of practical experience in finance and accounting or related areas in a manufacturing company with an international focus
  • Networked and analytical thinking with a pronounced flair for numbers and a quick comprehension
  • Entrepreneurial, pragmatic personality, humble, downtoearth, with an open mentality, capable to influence and collaborate with different internal stakeholders
  • Strong teamwork skills and personal integrity combined with natural authority and a healthy drive to get things done
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (MS Navision, SAP, or similar) and MS Office (Excel)
  • Fluent in German and English (working languages)
