Position summary


We are looking for a person to coordinate the delivery of Young Ambassadors Programme, and education and cultural mediation programme to ensure the best experiences of Homo Faber Event to a variety of audiences including Youth programme.


The Young Ambassadors coordinator will be responsible for selecting the cultural mediators, onboarding them from an administrative, operational and learning perspective, coordinate the development of e and IRL learning, drive and manage Young Ambassadors onsite and propose and deliver a cultural mediation offering to defined audiences according to assigned budget and retro planning.


Main responsibilities
Pre event (September 2023-onwards)

  • Implementation and coordinate the Young Ambassadors and Youth programmes according to action plan, assigned budget and retro planning from call to participation, selection and running of the programme.
  • Propose and coordinate cultural mediation programme according to audiences offering and routes.
  • Identify and coordinate all operational needs such as hotel and travel booking, uniforms, F&B, etc.
  • Document and present the programmes to internal and external parties and brief potential participating institutions.
  • Prepare briefs and manage tendering process for linked providers.
  • Prepare various documents, presentations, schedules, update contracts, etc.
  • Design, organize, and oversee the e and IRL learning journey prior to the event managing selected provider.
  • Coordinate and deliver content to various Foundation teams (Communication for ex.) and general contractor.
  • Oversee all logistics related to the YAs and supervise YAs onsite during the event.
  • Oversee coordination related to Youth programme.
During event (October 2024)

  • Manage intern.
  • Manage and supervise Young Ambassadors onsite, adapt as per needed during the live event.
  • Welcome Youth programme visitors and groups.
Post event (October 2024)

  • Assist and support the Head of Guests experiences in closing the Homo Faber Event budget and accounts.
  • Assist and support the Head of Guests experiences in putting together feedback, learnings and recommendations for the next edition.

Required Skills:


  • 2 years' experience in project, programme management or cultural mediation
  • A first experience in education programme conceptualization, implementation and coordination
  • Interested in working at all levels of a project from conception to realization
  • Energetic, curious, autonomous and proactive with a natural ability to coordinate and multitask
  • Effective communicator, problemsolver and avid learner
  • Sociable and extrovert with a capacity to connect to others
  • Computer skills (MsSuite, Salesforce)
  • If not already in the arts, craft, design, education sector, a strong interest for it

Must have experience of working and performing under pressure and
able to work onsite during 6-8 weeks including evenings and weekends with advance notice.

Fluent in Italian and English, French language abilities would be an asset.
