    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership & Clinical Advocacy:

  • Craft and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to augment market share and elevate brand perception.
  • Champion the enhancement of clinical care standards and the adoption of novel technologies and therapies within the region.
  • New Product Launch Excellence:

  • Own and Oversee the APJI Launch Excellence process to ensure successful launch of new products, ensuring meticulous planning, execution, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize launch strategies, positioning, and promotional activities, maximizing impact and market penetration.
  • Represent APJI to incorporate Voice of Customer from APJI markets to global new product development process directly and through APJI GEO Product Marketing team
  • Reimbursement Strategy Management:

  • Formulate and implement effective reimbursement strategies, aligning with regulatory standards and maximizing revenue. Incorporate reimbursement strategies during/pre-launch for new therapies or technologies.
  • Engage with stakeholders to refine reimbursement processes and advocate for progressive reimbursement policies.
  • Clinical Standard Enhancement:

  • Collaborate with healthcare entities and professionals to elevate clinical care standards and expedite the incorporation of groundbreaking technologies and therapies.
  • Utilize marketing initiatives to inform and educate communities about advancements in medical devices and their implications for patient care.
  • Team Management & Development:

  • Direct and empower a high-performing marketing team, aligning with corporate values and strategic objectives.
  • Encourage an inclusive and innovative team culture, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct extensive market research to uncover opportunities, evaluate competitors, and comprehend evolving customer needs and preferences.
  • Leverage insights to guide product development and enhancements, aligning with regional needs and advancements in clinical care.
  • Brand Management & Promotion:

  • Strengthen brand presence and credibility through adept brand management, compelling campaigns, and strategic promotional activities.
  • Manage public relations and communication strategies, optimizing media and stakeholder engagement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Forge strong relationships with regional sales, product management, and other departments to synchronize strategies and enhance business performance.
  • Develop enduring relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to foster brand advocacy and preference.
  • Continue strong customer stakeholder management and relationships for strategic customers partnering with global, regional and country teams
  • Budget Management:

  • Administer the marketing budget, allocating resources strategically to optimize ROI.
  • Continuously assess marketing performance and adjust strategies and budgets accordingly.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure marketing activities strictly adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in the region.
  • Work in tandem with legal and compliance teams to navigate risk and uphold compliance integrity.
  • Varian is required to comply with all local and applicable regulations that may be associated with vaccine requirements for certain roles.
