The place of work is Niederönz.

Our common goal:

We are the voice of the customer in product development and make sure that the execution of single product building blocks pays into the overall portfolio strategy.

We understand market needs and translate the strategic roadmap in the product roadmap for the assigned portfolio (short to midterm view) and break it down into a prioritized product backlog.

What you can accomplish:

You are responsible for clarifying and providing customer requirements and business aspects for the future product portfolio
In close cooperation with your colleagues from Strategic Product Management, Segment Marketing and R&D you implement the Bystronic product portfolio strategy across the globe
You coordinate marketing communication for the successful launch of the respective portfolio (e.g. product, price, place, promotion)
Monitoring of the product lifecycle incl. product enhancement (e.g. feature backlog management to extend lifecycle) and product phase out is also part of the job
Furthermore you provide market intelligence, tools and product trainings (cost calculation, product presentation, sales training, workshops)

What you should bring:

You bring strong interpersonal skills and willingness tu use them for to establish the mandatory crossfuncional conversations
You have either a degree in economics with technical experience or a degree in mechanical, IT or electrical engineering with additional education/experiences in Product Management
As an empathetic and attentive character you are able to understand sales and customer input and transform them into new products or new features (Customer Centricity and Technical understanding)
Your experience in interdisciplinary and intercultural collaboration helps to successfully achieve our product management goals
Business fluent language skills in German and English complete your profile
