Root D4, CH, 6039Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors.

TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death.

Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel.

Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other types of solid cancers.

To support our team in Root, Switzerland we are looking for a


Associate Director, Global Digital Media
In this role you will be owning Novocure's content and online advertising strategy. Creating advertising campaigns and marketing automation strategies for all departments within Novocure.

In this role you will be working closely with marketing and medical departments to develop and execute online campaigns across various digital channels with a strong focus on marketing automation, online journey generation and conversion optimization.


Your responsibilities:


  • Development and execution of content and advertising strategies that support Novocure's marketing and education goals.
  • You plan and drive online advertising campaigns across various platforms, including social media, search engines and other relevant websites.
  • You collaborate with communications, marketing, medical and other departments and teams in order to identify content opportunities and topics that align with the company's products, therapy, indications and services.
  • You manage the creation of ad creatives, landing pages and other assets necessary to support campaigns.
  • You develop and maintain marketing automation strategies that support online journeys and conversion optimization.
  • You monitor and ensure that all content, campaigns and strategies comply with regulatory requirements and standards for the medical industry.
  • As needed, you will manage relationships with external vendors and partners as needed.

Your profile:


  • Proven track record with at least 7 years' experience in content creation and digital advertising with a focus on online ads, marketing automation and conversion optimization.
  • You bring strong experience with online advertising platforms and ad formats including social media, advertising, display advertising and search engine advertising as well as a strong understanding of social media platforms and the development of correlating strategies.
  • Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation technologies such as Veeva, SFMC, Marketo and experience in SEO and other organic content pieces such as Newsletter calendars, PR reach and content distribution.
  • You bring the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders with a strong focus on customer needs and user experience.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with campaign management tools and platforms.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in the healthcare, medical or pharmaceutical industry is required for this position.
