Your responsibilities

• Work directly with the CUO to develop our underwriting reporting and portfolio management capabilities. Set up and run analyses tracking the production and profitability of the portfolio, automate reports and data quality checks and present results to management.
• Act as the main contact person for underwriting data and take a leading role in the automation of data‐driven processes.
• Further develop the reserving and capital modeling tools under the guidance of the Head of

Actuarial.

• Take a leading role in the setup, implementation, and maintenance of our new data platform. This is an exciting opportunity to help build the future data backbone of our company and automate processes and analytics based on it. You will manage the project, collect business requirements, support the platform design, and develop into the owner of the platform.
• Depending on your background and interest, involvement in other actuarial and/or underwriting tasks like pricing, reserving, capital modeling etc. is possible.

Your qualifications

• 2‐5 years experience in non‐life insurance and/or reinsurance
• Experience with databases and SQL, programming skills (e.g. R, Python, Alteryx)
• Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
• Non‐life (re)insurance reserving, pricing and/or capital modeling experience is an advantage
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills, Power BI is a plus
• Competency to deliver and explain technical material to all levels and disciplines
• Interested and curious to learn and contribute to areas outside of the initial field of expertise
• Ability to collaborate cross‐functionally and adapt to changing priorities
• Fluent in English, other European languages of advantage
