In this position, you will act as a Business Partner to the company's management and heads of department, while keeping a close eye on key financial indicators, market trends, and customer activities. Leveraging your strong analytical skills using SAP, you will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure sound decision-making for the factory's success.

We are seeking a Factory Controller with leadership abilities and a keen eye for details, known for a hands-on approach. Are you capable of supporting decisions by analyzing financial data to assess different business options and propose suitable solutions? Do you possess a solid understanding of controlling within a manufacturing setting? Can you proactively contribute to shaping and enhancing internal control procedures? In this role as a local factory controller, you will also supervise two financial analysts.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy standards and establish and enforce financial control standards and specific business guidelines
Manage monthly closing, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting following Hitachi Energy reporting guidelines
Support business planning development, implementation, and monitoring based on business unit strategies
Provide timely updates to the local management team regarding financial performance and necessary actions
Define and monitor production KPIs, analyze cost center expenses, cash flow, overdue accounts, profitability, inventory reports, and under/overabsorption
Review COPQ, pricing, and production capacity; support Project Management during project execution and sales managers during tenders by identifying financial risks and opportunities

Requirements:

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
5 to 7 years of successful experience in a similar role within an international environment
Prior experience in a leadership position is advantageous, given the oversight of two direct reports
Experience in factory controlling and product business
Comfortable working under pressure and taking on responsibilities
Thorough understanding of balance sheets, income statements, and financial management processes
Proficient in MS Office, SAP, Power BI, ABACUS Analyzer, IRS & JSOX
Team player with excellent management and communication skills, fluent in English and German
