Laboratory Technician R&D Analytical Chemistry - Laborantin(e) R&D Chimie Analytique

Work location:
Satigny, Geneva, Switzerland

Key Responsibilities

Measure and process NMR and GC-MS analytical requests for different innovation teams in the company

Elucidate chemical structures using various analytical tools such as NMR, GC-MS, LC-MS, Elemental Analysis and IR, and advanced softwares

Participate in the maintenance and calibration of NMR and GC/MS instruments, guarantee specifications

Work with sophisticated NMR methods

Work in automation using robots

Maintain and work with analytical databases

Contribute to cross-divisional and multidisciplinary innovative projects to support business and research

Organize laboratory supplies

We value

Swiss CFC or equivalent diploma with a minimum of 3 years in a laboratory, or BSc in chemistry

Work experience in a research environment

Theoretical background in Analytical Chemistry

Strong expertise in analytical methods such as NMR, GC-MS, LC-MS, IR and EA

Good communication skills and excellent team spirit

Rigor and precision in the laboratory

Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, and SAP, computer literate

Fluent in French, working knowledge in English preferred
