CYSEC is the proud organizer of CYSAT, the biggest European event dedicated to cybersecurity in the space industry. Since its creation, CYSAT has firmly established itself as the leading event for the space industry.

Each year, it brings together more than 1000 professionals, creating a must-attend event for robust discussions on the complexities of cybersecurity in this dynamic sector.

The event is the center of gravity of a global community of more than 4000 professionals in the space and cybersecurity ecosystem, making it a unique platform.

To raise awareness about cybersecurity in the space market, we organize CYSAT, the only B2B event in Europe bringing together space and cybersecurity professionals.

Held in Paris, we ambition, year after year, to make CYSAT a reference in Europe by involving space agencies, well-established players, startups and ethical hackers.


To strengthen our marketing team and support the growth of the event and the company, we are looking for an event management intern based in Lausanne to contribute to the organization of CYSAT and to organize our participation in other B2B events (trade shows, exhibitions) not necessarily related to space.


Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to our Marketing Director and in close collaboration with our marketing and space teams, your main missions will be:
Operating the CYSAT Event

  • Plan and manage the event and all the operational part (venue, suppliers, catering)
  • Management of onsite and operational teams.
  • Content creation and showcasing (brochures, links with sponsors, etc.)
  • Negotiation with suppliers, content providers and technical staff.
  • Control and monitor the budget, including any reforcasting.
  • Planning & organization of field operations (content, budget, objectives)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • Works well in a fastpaced environment
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Proven writing skills and attention to detail
  • Prior experience with design tools
  • General knowledge of Google Sheets
  • Fluent in French and in English
  • Taste for teamwork, creativity, stress management and organizational skills
  • Traveling to Paris is not an issue
