Your role
As a Senior Consultant, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in; you will define the problem, propose and refine the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Core Competencies :

• Strong technical skills in Oracle 11g, 12c and 19c Database administration
• Knowledge in RMAN backup and recovery
• Knowledge of Standby, Dataguard configuration and support
• Good knowledge in VCS clusterware concepts
• Knowledge on OEM configuration, job scheduling, incident management
• Knowledge of Database cloning (Refresh), upgrade, patching and Vulnerability fixes.
• Experience in Database Performance Tuning skills

1. Understanding of Linux and Windows Operating Systems
2. Secondary skill on any of MS SQL Server, IBM DB2, Mongo DB, Sybase and/or PostgreSQL
3. Understanding of ITIL process i.e. Incident, Problem and Change management

Good to have

• Shell scripting knowledge
• Working knowledge on cloud technology like AWS, GCP is plus
• Automation tool knowledge on Ansible, Puppet etc is advantage
