    Research & Development delivers hearing solutions and services for hearing impaired people, hearing care professionals, and further related people, in the form of hearing devices, accessories, web services, mobile applications, and PC software.

    Developing and testing microelectronics is your passion. Your 3+ years of experience in development, testing, verification and maintaining of SoC/ASICs will build further on our success. Embedded in an international research and development team, you will support product creations by taking over responsibility for the electronics development of our hearing instrument chargers. You will use state of the art technology and software to develop the best in class products.

    Your tasks

  • Define analog SoC/ASIC requirements that meet stakeholder needs, including: power management circuits, ADC, DAC, IC backend & testing
  • Contribute to SoC/ASIC specification with external semiconductor partners
  • Verify, Integrate & validate the IC and passive components according to the requirements & specification
  • Develop IC testing concept & support IC qualification for industrialization
  • Define and develop circuits for the verification/validation environment
  • Support PCB development including schematic & layout review
  • Run spice, power distribution network and signal integrity simulations on our PCBs
  • Define and maintain the HW measurement setups and tools for the electrical verification of the electronic systems/platforms.
  • Support for microsystems-related issues in Operations and R&D
  • Support our operations department with insourcing Projects
  • Your profile

  • University degree in microelectronic engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in electronic design
  • Familiar with PDN, SI and Spice simulators
  • Proficient in using digital design tools and hardware design languages
  • Experience with electronic test equipment
  • Skilled in HW/SW setups and tools for ASIC functional emulation, verification, and IC characterization
  • Good know-how in Phyton scripting and Microcontroller programming
  • Experience with PCB design is a plus
  • Knowledge of electric safety standards for medical devices (such as IEC
  • Familiarity with power management techniques for low-power devices
  • Able to structure tasks, solution-oriented and quality aware
  • Willing to work in a distributed, diverse collaboration environment
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
