Collège du Léman is one of Switzerland's most prestigious international day and boarding schools, located on the edge of Lake Geneva in view of the Swiss Alps.

Collège du Léman is part of the Nord Anglia family of 81 schools worldwide.

They come together on a green, village-like campus covering 8 hectares. Students follow international and national curricula, with English, French and Bilingual programmes.


Main Purpose of the Role
For our Summer Camp program 2023, we are looking for a dynamic, motivated, fully qualified ESL Teacher.


Key Responsibilities

  • Teach English as a foreign language to students (grade level depending on registrations)
  • Engage and motivate students, regardless of their abilities
  • Work closely with a team of dedicated colleagues
  • Enhance student participation by using creative activities to implement a drama production for each session

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent classroom practitioner
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Languages required: English, French would be a useful additional language
  • Must be able to teach students of different age groups essentially from 818 years
  • Very good use of technology in the classroom
The summer camp is planned over 3 sessions from July 2nd to August 12th, 2023.


Dates:


  • Session 1: July 2nd to 15th, 202
  • Session 2: July 16th to 29th, 202
  • Session 3: July 30th to August 12th, 2023

The working hours are the following:

  • Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 12.30pm, except on the first Monday of every session (8.30 am to 5pm)
  • It is important that the post holder is always aware of Child Protection guidelines and observes a professional distance from students whilst still developing effective working and caring relationships.
  • You understand and embrace the importance of diversity and inclusion and stand against discrimination in any form. Background investigations and reference checks for the past ten years will be conducted during the selection process._
