We are looking for an experienced Data Management Leader, who will be part of the Technology organization.

In this new role, you will lead the data management team, develop the data management strategy, drive data utilization and governance and increase the organization's data maturity.

You will have to deeply align with the Head Data Analytics & Customer Insights, collaborate with all departments of Technology and with several business functions.

This role will build the fundament for the bank regarding usage of data to implement the business strategy.

Your tasks

Develop, communicate and implement the data management initiatives for the overall data strategy and roadmap. This will be in close alignment with the business data initiatives to drive our commercial strategy, customer life cycle management, product and service innovation, customer profitability and risk management.
Ensure scope of initiatives and align with enterprise data roadmap
Oversee a range of datarelated functions such as master data management and data governance elements
Lead monitoring and governing enterprise data in collaboration with relevant control functions
Operations: Enable data usability, availability and efficiency by managing the lifecycle of data and ensuring appropriate data quality
Support the discussions how to improve utilization of data across the organization
Create, maintain and develop data management solutions for secure collection and processing of data
Keep up with relevant regulations, comply with related policies and stay abreast of developments at the intersection of technology, science and business relevant to drive innovation
Ensure effective controls to protect data and prevent data breaches
Grow and mentor a team of experts in building an environment of innovation, teamwork and trust
Act as ambassador for data driven culture: establish a culture that normalizes sharing data for making informed decisions on how to improve future business outcomes

Profile:

Master's degree, postgraduate studies or equivalent higher education in numerical/analytical fields and/or technology
10+ years experience in leadership roles, finance/business leadership a plus
Proven ability to lead, work under pressure, deliver and communicate insights
Superior analytics capabilities and problemsolving mindset
Deep understanding of technology trends (e.g. Cloud Lakehouse), data management trends (e.g. data fabrics, data mesh, DataOps) and data governance & regulation requirements
Solid understanding of the data science lifecycle management (e.g. MLOps, ModelOps) and ethical frameworks to ensure ethical usage of Data and Analytics
Transparent, constructive, forwardlooking way of working
Result orientation and ability to work autonomously and in team
Mindset to look for solutions that meet the company's commitment to operate sustainable
Fluent in English, German a plus
