Missions:
We are currently looking for a trainee or a junior broker for our well established Specialized & Edible Oil chartering department in Geneva.
This is a great opportunity to join our growing Geneva team to help strengthen relationships with existing leading clients locally and elsewhere in the world, as well as develop new business.
Main responsibilities:
- Extensive relationship building activities
- Ability to develop business with some of the world's largest and most dynamic traders
- Responsible for keeping the tonnage/cargo position updated
- Capability to do voyage calculations
- Instigate, arrange and negotiate spot voyage and time charters on behalf of clients
Profile:
- Some knowledge about Tankers or Chemical markets
- Preference for experience in Broking or at shipowner/charterer environment
- Fluency in English, other languages are a plus
- Strong understanding of Maritime Software and Microsoft Office
- Degree level education
- Outgoing personality
