ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Cloud Developer and Azure Expert to be a part of a cutting-edge project in the dynamic banking sector in Zürich.

The project encompasses a series of innovative and collaborative projects in Switzerland, providing the opportunity to work in a diverse and cross-functional team. In this onsite position You will have a chance to contribute to the migration and transformation from the current on-prem deployments hosted on VMware Tanzu Pivotal Cloud Foundry, to an Azure Cloud hosted, scalable and efficient solution using AKS or Azure Web App Service, properly segregated into clusters.

Responsibilities

Drive the implementation of the Azure solution

Document the design and follow the SDLC internal practices

Mentor and guide Java developers in their Azure journey

Continuously improve the orchestration of deployments and the technical quality of the delivery

Build new Java features in a cloud compliant way

Requirements

Professional experience with Microsoft Azure, DevOps and Java Cloud

Excellent understanding of infrastructure design and implementation, keeping in mind the ease of deployment and maintainability, cloud costs and conformity to regulatory and security standards

Experience with Azure Cloud, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure Web Apps

Some experience with Java programming as the applications and current infrastructure use Java, Spring Boot, Ansible, Hashicorp Valut, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (VMware Tanzu)

Fluent English language knowledge is a necessity

German language knowledge is a plus
