We at Nestlé Research & Development in Konolfingen near Bern / Switzerland develop for Nestlé worldwide new products, processes, and packaging concepts in the areas of Dairy and Nutrition.

The Packaging Laboratory at Nestle is seeking a highly motivated and talented graduate to join our dynamic team. As a

Packaging Intern in our Packaging Laboratory, you will be responsible for various tasks related to management of Packaging specifications. Additionally, you will work on essential training modules, performing laboratory analyses, and preparing comprehensive reports.


A Day in the Life of an Intern in Product Development

  • Ensure the completeness of SAP Packaging Material and Packaging Purchasing Specifications by coordinating with global teams.
  • Work on online training modules with the assistance of relevant experts and learning and leveraging new technology, like ChatGPT.
  • Support our packaging laboratory by conducting selected analyses and provide accurate and reliable results; compile and write comprehensive reports based on laboratory findings.

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proactive and result focus combined with an innovative mindset
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented environment
  • At ease at networking in international environment
