Position:

The Project Manager will be defining the scope, objectives, and outcomes of projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals. They are tasked with developing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure efficient utilization of resources.

In addition, they provide support in evaluating technical accomplishments to ensure project goals are met.

They are also responsible for building and leading project teams, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and managing team members to ensure effective progress.

Risk management is another crucial aspect of their role.

They are responsible for identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and monitoring and managing these risks throughout the project lifecycle.

They are also tasked with resolving any problems or obstacles that arise during projects, adapting plans and strategies as necessary to keep projects on track.

Maintaining accurate project documentation is another key responsibility. This includes reports, budgets, schedules, and other relevant documents. They work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Finally, they carry out post-project evaluations to assess successes, failures, and areas for improvement. They are responsible for closing the project and ensuring a smooth handover or transition. This comprehensive role requires a professional with a wide range of skills and abilities.


Requirements:

Business Acumen:
Possession of engineering or technical training complemented by additional training in business management is highly valued.

  • Project Management Experience: A minimum of 5 years' demonstrated experience in project management is required.
