The mission of the Medical BDM is to increase GFMS sales in the medical market of machine tool solutions, with a primary focus on Switzerland.

The role involves supporting the Medical Segment Manager (Global) in business development across all regions.


Responsibilities:


Sales Support Activities (Approx. 50%):
Develop the Medical Device manufacturing market, including order intake, market mapping, and promotional activities.

Map the Swiss medical device market, identify key players, and document existing and potential customers.

Create action plans to penetrate key target customers, lead customer meetings, and identify advantages/gaps for GFMS products.

Collaborate with the sales team, create presentations, document decision criteria, and analyze customer needs.

Document key events and propose/lead GFMS participation at industry events.


Global Market Development (Approx. 50%):
Work with the Medical Segment Manager on global projects showcasing GFMS capabilities in the medical sector.

Participate in internal and external events such as webinars, seminars, trade shows, and presentations.

Work with internal and external partners to create content for web, social media, and other communication channels.

Actively promote GF Machining Solutions through webinars, technical articles, and success stories.

Technical, Commercial & Sales knowledge - completed vocational training e.g. a technical education with a strong affinity to sales is suitable.

Experience in medical segment selling and manufacturing activities

Familiarity with ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance, Validation, MDR

Knowledge of milling technology is essential; knowledge of EDM, laser, and automation is a plus.

German & english necessary
