Our client, an international industrial company based in French-speaking Switzerland and specialized in high-value industrial equipment, is actively seeking a Technical Writer to join their dynamic team.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to contribute to cutting-edge technical documentation for innovative machinery.

The Technical Writer will be the essential interface between engineers, technicians, and end users.

Tasks

Analyzing technical data provided (plans, parts lists, system descriptions, 3D models...) and communicating with clients as needed.
Developing and revising technical documentation for maintenance or operation, adhering to technical specifications and industry standards for machinery.
Reviewing and validating technical documentation produced by third parties.
Ensuring clear and concise tracking of activities.
Contributing to the evolution of methods and processes as part of our continuous improvement approach.

Requirements:

Significant industry experience, ideally in the industrial equipment sector or similar
Technical background (e.g., degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field)
Excellent command of both French and English, written and spoken
Proven ability to analyze complex technical data such as plans, parts lists, and 3D models
Experience in developing documentation compliant with industry standards for machinery
Ability to work autonomously while closely collaborating with engineering teams
