    Intern – Internal Data Assets

    This position reports into the PLAN Data Asset and working within the Knowledge Graph Team and is based in Zug, Switzerland.

    What will you do

    We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Knowledge Graph Intern to join our team. As an Intern, you will work closely with our data asset team members to contribute to the development of our knowledge graph infrastructure, use cases and strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for a computer science student with a passion for data and AI to gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Data Acquisition and Preparation: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and integrating data from various sources to populate the knowledge graph.

    · Knowledge Graph Development: Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our knowledge graph infrastructure using industry-standard tools and techniques. Core technology to be used: Neo4J.

    · Data Modeling and Representation: Work on designing and implementing data models to represent entities, relationships, and attributes within the knowledge graph.

    · Querying and Analysis: Develop and execute queries using Cypher language to extract insights and patterns from the knowledge graph

    · Documentation and Reporting: Document your work, including data sources, methodologies, and findings, and present your results to the team in a clear and concise manner.

    · Collaboration and Learning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and incorporate feedback into the development process. Stay updated on the latest advancements in knowledge graph technologies and contribute ideas for improvement.

    What we are looking for

    Required Qualifications

    ·Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or a related field

    ·Strong programming skills, with proficiency in Python. Other languages are an advantage

    ·Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and visualization.

    ·Basic understanding of database management systems and SQL.

    ·Interest in and basic understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data mining concepts.

    ·Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    ·Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

    ·Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

    What's in it for you

    This is a full-time internship position with flexible hours. The duration of the internship is 3 months. Official starting date: May 13.
