What's the role?:


As a Project Manager in our New Business Team, you are responsible to take business opportunities from the definition phase to a successful launch into our global markets.

You manage interdisciplinary project teams with full responsibility on on-time delivery, project resources, quality and return on invest.

By orchestrating all the different functions like marketing, development and supply, you create an out of the box thinking atmosphere and an open trustful working environment.

What does the role involve?:


In this role, you will steer an interdisciplinary team alongside large and complex projects to introduce our innovative products to the market.

First you need to understand customer needs to create a product system vision together with marketing and development.

From there you need to define project goals and ensure performance in terms of value proposition, quality, costs, project timeline and budget.

You master the management of multiple projects with sub-projects acting accordingly with multiple stakeholders. You will have intensive contact with external partners and suppliers to successfully launch your project.

  • You are responsible for project management of endtoend new product creation and life cycle management from design to production.
  • You manage interdisciplinary project teams with full responsibility on manufacturing costs, on time delivery, quality and project budget.
  • You balance initially the customer and stakeholder requirements to create a product vision that generate customer added value. Requirements engineering, synchronisation of the different streams on system level as well as release management should not be new territory, this is also valid to agile project management.
  • You structure complex tasks into manageable work packages, and create realistic project plans with accurately estimated timelines and resources
  • You show evidence of being able to set priorities, understand the tradeoffs and you take calculated risks, manage and mitigate them
  • You work with various partners and stakeholders like JVs, plants, markets, finance, technology experts and external vendors

What you need is:


  • Completed technical degree or further education
  • Proven experience in managing complex technical and commercial projects
  • Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset to drive direction in an inclusive manner
  • Structured person with the ability to reduce complexity and drive decisions at calculated risk
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English (other languages an advantage)
  • Willingness to travel domestic & international up to 20%
