Overview:


  • Corporate Functions includes the Group's nonbanking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units, and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Corporate Office, Risk and Tax departments.
Our Graduate Programmes is intended for recent graduates.

As part of the programme with our Group Finance department, you will not only develop the technical and interpersonal skills needed in your future career at Pictet but also be given the opportunity to build a network of peers within the company.

We offer you a permanent position starting with a unique 24-month programme during which you will rotate through a number of the Finance department's teams.

During the programme you will be part of the Group Finance department's Data & Tech team, which is responsible for managing regulatory and management information systems.

A series of rotations is planned in the Finance teams of other Group entities, to enable you to acquire complementary skills, develop first-hand knowledge and become better acquainted with our different businesses.

At the end of the programme you will be ready to take full ownership of a position in our Finance department's Data & Tech team, where you will be responsible for designing data quality frameworks, ensuring higher standardisation and harmonisation across Group entities, and produce monthly and quarterly reports to the attention of different regulators.


Your profile:


  • A recent graduate with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance or Business Administration.
  • Education in data science with SQL coding skills
  • Willingness to take a postgraduate training course.
  • Excellent analytical skills, an ownership mindset, a head for numbers and the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • An enquiring mind with the ability to innovate, as well as being a strong team player.
  • First experience in a similar role in financial services or with a top consulting or auditing firm would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of and interest in the banking/asset management industries.
  • Fluent or native speaker of English and French; reasonable command of another language would be a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be resident in Switzerland.
  • Start date: 1 September or 1 October 2024
