Creoptix is an innovative, fast-growing brand of Malvern Panalytical located in Wädenswil near Zurich (Switzerland). We are a leading supplier of molecular interaction analysis systems. Production Operator (100%)

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:


In this role, you will be involved in all activities related to the manufacturing of our devices, consumables and spare parts.

Our devices are of high technical complexity, including mechanics, optics, electronics, fluidics, software, and biochemistry components. Your role is critical in ensuring we consistently deliver quality products to our customers around the world.


REPORTING LINE:
Head of Supply Chain Operations


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assembly of analytical lab instrumentation and its subassemblies
  • Testing and quality inspection of analytical lab instrumentation and its subassemblies
  • Final assembly of the complete system
  • Final assembly, packaging and labelling of consumables
  • Execution of electrical safety tests and various quality controls using analytical lab instrumentation
  • Documentation of performed quality tests, as well as serial numbers to ensure full tracking and tracing
  • Create in the ERP system Manufacturing Orders and Work Orders
  • Update the ERP system with accurate information pertaining to real production time, scrap reasons, etc.
  • Work in collaboration with fellow colleagues to support the continuous improvement of production processes
  • Provide support to Supply Chain and Quality colleagues regarding stock management, incoming inspections, shipping support, testing, etc.
  • Participate in crossfunctional and adhoc projects

What we expect:

  • Successfully completed a technical apprenticeship (e.g. electrician, automation engineer, equipment manufacturer or similar) OR
  • Completed professional training with the equivalent knowhow and sound technical knowledge / understanding
  • Experience in the assembly of electromechanical components
  • Confirmed ability to possess fine motor skills, excellent organizational skills and a meticulous mindset
  • Understanding of assembly and quality control processes
  • Experience in using ERP systems, ideally SAP
  • Fluent in English and any other European language would be an advantage
  • Fast learner with an ability to translate knowhow into high quality results
  • Reliable, team player, with strong customer focus

Would be an advantage:

  • Experience in handling optical components and subassemblies
  • Experience in working with fluidic analytical devices
  • LEAN and/or LEAN Sigma practical experience
