For our Business Unit Semiconductors at our Swiss headquarters we are looking for a


Product Marketing Manager:


Evatec is a Swiss company with offices in the US, Europe and Asia that specializes in the development, production and sale of high-tech thin film deposition equipment for the semiconductor, advanced packaging, optical and optoelectronics markets.

From the high brightness LEDs in our cars to the sensors and filters in our mobile phones our know how enables the world's leading manufacturers to deliver solutions for autonomous driving, smart wearables and handhelds and high performance 5G mobile networks.


Your main tasks:


  • Definition of the product position, pricing and gross margin strategy together with Business Unit (BU) Head
  • Definition of the strategic targets in alignment with the BU Head & Technical Marketing Manager (TMM) and initiate relevant innovation projects/programs including ownership of the market introduction
  • Overall responsibility for the roadmap within the BU and the breakdown for product development and R&D with regular schedule & milestones update, provide program proposals, canvas, target specifications for BU programs and product developments
  • Interface and main contact between TMM / regional sales and HQ for all customer/sales requests (samplings, quotes, technical specs, etc.) to drive the sales process
  • Support retrofit business and projects
  • Ensure precise project handover of purchase orders to project management (precalculation, special agreements, etc.)
  • Provide regular market intelligence data: e.g. technology screening, competitive analysis and market trends
  • Define and lead the sales training (technical, commercial)
  • Represent Evatec in technical and market related conferences and shows

Your profile:


  • Experience in international sales, product management, project management in a technology driven capital equipment company and additional business education (i.e. MBA) is an added value
  • Industry experience in semiconductor and/or thin film industry
  • Ability to work in a global and virtual organization (geographical distribution of sales organization)
  • Fluent in English, additional language skills are an asset
  • High intercultural sensitivity with excellent communication skills throughout the organization on all levels
  • Presentation & negotiation skills, strong business sense
  • Solution oriented and pragmatic personality as well as customer / service orientation
  • High analytical skills for competitor analysis, market intelligence and development of marketing strategy
