MSAT USP Internship (6 months)

Internship location:
Aubonne, Switzerland


Your role:

A new internship opportunity is currently available within the Manufacturing Science And Technology group.


You will be responsible for the realization of a study regarding an innovative cell counter and will be responsible for the setup of the experiments and the development of the method via a design of experiment methodology.


You may have the opportunity to train technician and implement the new methodology within production team in class C and D area.


In addition, you willro participate to the setup of scale down model bioreactors according to Internal SOP, routinely perform In-Process-Controls and several analyses of the cell culture runs.

On top of these activities, you may be involved in process troubleshooting and support investigation teams if needed.

You will be asked to present your work regularly to internal experts and global scientific community. An agile and curious mindset is required.


Your profile:


  • Student: Master or engineer in biotechnology, biology, chemistry, or similar field of expertise
  • Mandatory expertise in statistics and modeling tools (preferably SIMCA or minitab)
- knowledge in bioprocessing, in particular cell culture.

  • Ability to think autonomously and brainstorm within a team of experts.
  • High level of motivation and result oriented scientist.
  • Good communication skills in English. French knowledge is highly recommended or willing to learn.
