What are we looking for?:


Your primary responsibilities

Data Product Management, Project Coordination
The role oversees the complete lifecycle of assigned data products.

  • Strategy_
  • Frame and maintain a strategy for data flows (from generation/ingestion to processing and provisioning) from/to data products.
  • Identify opportunities to increase user engagement and habit formation through indepth data analytics.
  • Work towards a truly personalized user experience together with UX and development teams to provide real value for customers.
  • Support Sales Entities and advisors to use full sales potential and enable upselling with advanced analytics.
  • Research and Discovery_
  • Oversee proofofconcepts of data products to validate feasibility, customer value hypothesis validation, and solution approaches.
  • Together with stakeholders define quality and success criteria balancing best customer satisfaction and business value.
  • Implementation_
  • Initiate implementation of data products by setting up project teams and assigning them a budget.
  • Constantly monitor project status and progress, especially assuring that defined success criteria are met.
  • Continuous Evaluation_
  • Empirically validate the customer and business impact of data products and digital services in general using experimental and quasiexperimental techniques.
  • Negotiate SLAs and data product operation objectives with Digital R&D or thirdparty suppliers.

Advanced Analytics
The role is engaged in general advanced analytics initiatives across the company.

  • Oversee initiatives in advanced analytics and assure close match with business requirements to facilitate data driven decision making.
  • Build, maintain a strategic roadmap of advanced analytics capabilities and implement it together with the team as well as internal and external partners.

Consulting

  • Act as an interface/ build the bridge between business and IT.
  • Evangelize a data and evidence driven work culture to improve business decisions and processes.
  • Proactively help to make datadriven decisions and recommendations for digital solutions.
  • Consult Vorwerk units on data strategies and matching the right ML/AI techniques to use cases.

When it comes to your experience, this is what we're looking for:

  • Successfully completed Doctorate or Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, physics, engineering, psychology, economics or equivalent disciplines with a strong focus on data analysis methods.
  • Preferably 3+ years of experience in data analysis and modeling of human behavior.
  • Previous experience in project management (SAFe, PRINCE2 Agile) and budget responsibility.
  • Fluency in Python, and proficiency in additional languages such as R, SQL, or others would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge in the area of machine learning strategies.
  • Familiarity with systematic data discovery methodologies (e.g., CRISP-DM, CRISP-ML).
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, agile mindset, and strong team player.
  • General management knowledge, skills and experience.
  • Software requirements elicitation and management knowledge (using IREB or Scrum Product Owner).
  • Ability to translate marketing, sales and UX questions into actionable data product strategies.
  • Experienced in project setups, evaluation of suppliers, screening and briefing of key resources, and strong digital technology skills.
