Are you a motivated young professional who wants to start a sales career or already has some experience in business development? Sustainability is important to you, and you would like to take a big step toward an energy-efficient future.

If you are also interested in the latest technologies, then become a Business Development Representative in Western Switzerland.


We are LEDCity, a cleantech start-up founded in Zurich, with the goal of reducing energy consumption in the lighting sector worldwide by 80%.

To achieve this, we are developing a globally deployable lighting system that uses sensors to control lighting according to demand.

Tasks

Main tasks

  • Increase customer base in Romandie and support the sales team.
  • Prospecting, building, and managing own pipeline on a longterm basis.
  • Close Collaboration with our Account Executives to target the right leads.
  • Refinement of existing acquisition strategies and material and giving it your twist.
Side tasks

  • Attending events with target clients.
  • Support our Account Executives in the execution of bigger projects.
  • Traveling to clients to pitch our solution or help with onsite visits.

Requirements:

Must Have's

  • You possess a startup mentality and the necessary portion of flexibility.
  • You possess the ability to work independently and in a structured way.
  • You have a strong interest in distributing a sustainable solution to create more sustainable buildings.
  • You have excellent written and oral French skills and a good command of English.
  • You either are in your studies (Business Administration, Environmental Technology or Industrial Engineering) or have recently graduated and want to help a Swiss cleantech startup establish itself on the market of Western Switzerland.
Nice to Have's

  • You have previous sales work experience preferably in a real estate or technical company or in a startup.
  • You speak German or Spanish.
