About the Role

  • We are currently recruiting for our next Director of Investor Relations to support the Head of Global Strategy in designing Barry Callebaut's equity story, appropriately position the company and articulating it to its stakeholder community. Based in Zurich, this is a key role in helping to protect Barry Callebaut and its share price from investor misperceptions, rumors, market developments, or adverse trends. You will be responsible for developing investor communications, managing the roadshow calendar, building relationships with the financial community, meeting with analysts and investors and ultimately ensuring that Barry Callebaut has the right mix of investors to support growth and company goals.
    Key Responsibilities include
  • Develop a coherent and compelling equity story to market effectively to the financial community
  • Ensure that Barry Callebaut is fairly, consistently and accurately represented to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and execute investor relations strategy to foster positive relationships and open communication with shareholders, analysts and other stakeholders
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a range of investors, analysts and rating agencies to ensure that they are provided with timely, accurate and high quality information
  • Serve as a point of contact for investor inquiries and communicate financial and strategic updates through presentations, conference calls, meetings and written communications
  • Create awareness of & ensure compliance with regulatory disclosure requirements
  • Organize and regularly participate in investor marketing activities such as roadshows, conferences, ESG, and debt roadshows, jointly with Group Corporate Finance and Treasury
  • Develop financial results related material including presentations, press releases and annual and half yearly reporting and supporting documents and agree on key messages with the Head of Global Strategy
  • Conduct investor targeting analysis to help shape Barry Callebaut's investor base to support growth
  • Work closely with Finance and Legal to ensure regulatory adherence and consistency of financial messages delivered worldwide by Barry Callebaut
  • Participate in the organization of the Annual General Meeting jointly with Group Legal and Group Communications
  • Proactively engage with institutional investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders to promote a clear understanding of the company business strategy and financial performance
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
    About you
  • Advanced degree, MBA or CFA designation a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Investor Relations at a senior level with proven knowledge of how to build an investment case
years working experience in a relevant field such as asset management, investment banking, investment research

  • Experience with financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial analysis
  • Exposure to European, US, and UK investors is a must
  • Strong network within relevant Barry Callebaut investors and analyst community is an advantage
  • Consumer industry knowledge is preferred
  • Technical knowledge of Swiss stock exchange regulations and the regulatory environment is a strong preference
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to provide insights and recommendations based on market trends and competitor activities.
  • Ability serve as a key advisor providing regular feedback to senior stakeholders in a proactive, focused manner
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership & stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across crossfunctional teams
  • Open and flexible with regular international travel: the position involves organizing and often participating in 2024 road shows per year coinciding with the quarterly results announcements
