  • We're looking for an Architect in Cyber Information & Security (CIS) group of UBS to:
  • play an active role in consulting with product owners on translating OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) into backlog items and include architectural improvements into the roadmap
- collaborate with other architects to define architectural goals and standards and manage temporary solutions and technical debt remediation
- work closely with cross-functional team members in a pod (cross-functional team) or crew to improve (digital) products and journeys iteratively and continuously in line with our Digital Principles and architecture goals
- syndicate architectures among pods, crews and streams and ensure these conform to architectural standards; resolve interdependencies and conflicts and maintain a technical roadmap and maintain an overview of architectural gaps


Your team

  • You'll be working within the global Cyber and Information Security Architecture team focusing on the delivery of the CADMUS program, access governance roadmaps and also on tasks related to key procedural controls (KPC) aligned to UBS policies.
  • CADMUS is a Program which seeks to implement the Access Governance
  • Next Evolution of Services (AG-NES) solution which will enable UBS to: "Achieve security through simplicity with a unified, scalable and sustainable entitlement management solution that enables business agility, and efficient compliance.''
  • The CADMUS program will simplify and consolidate entitlement management on a single 3rd party solution in order to deliver benefits such as:
  • cut recurring cost per user of entitlement management by almost two thirds, bringing it in line with industry benchmarks
- create a more favorable and unified experience across the joiner/mover/leaver lifecycle
- greatly increase the transparency for control and risk management functions


Your expertise
- deep understanding and experience with Access Management and Identity, Governance and Administration
- ideally 5 or more years working as an architect within access management domain in large, global financial institutions
- experience with Microsoft Azure and Omada is essential
- familiar with an Agile practices
- proven track record of successfully contribution from an architectural stand-point, delivering access management solutions or programs
- excellent documentation skills to present complicated architectural challenges to all ranges of stakeholders from CTO to Engineer
- successful management of complex and diverse tasks, while meeting key objectives and timelines
- strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels
- expertise in Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities
- ability to manage competing priorities and deliver iteratively
