What does the Product Portfolio Manager Digital Building Solutions do, you ask?


The position will be part of the global Solution and Service Business team managing and supporting our assigned regions and focus countries in their business success.

The Product Portfolio Manager Digital Building Solutions will be responsible for owning, developing, and maintaining our portfolio around indoor positioning and navigation and additional integration into our wider digital portfolio.

You will be responsible for launching globally the portfolio and over time be the key point of contact for the organization.

An impact is generated by being a guiding force for our country colleagues requesting the portfolio and delivering it in line with Siemens' standards.

Key interfaces will be our regions, focus countries as well as colleagues from product management.


Your new responsibilities

  • Own, develop and maintain the portfolio around indoor positioning and navigation, secure connectivity to the wider digital portfolio
  • Manage a community of partners out of the matrix organization (regions, countries, product managers) in order to secure the successful portfolio adaption in the market
  • Identify market demand and customer requirements to secure the market success of the portfolio
  • Define market packages and influence product development roadmaps
  • Manage suppliers and ensure a delivery in time, quality and budget
  • Ensure creation and availability of documentation, trainings, marketing material and technical demonstrations
  • Support thought leadership and strategic activities

What you bring along

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, economics or relevant business experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the building technologies industry
  • Experience in sales and product management within a B2B environment
  • Expertise in project management and leading functional teams
  • Proactive and positive attitude, teamplayer and able to build trust with internal and external partners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The position requires excellent English language skills, German or any other European language is an advantage
