We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Finance Lead to manage all finance activities in Switzerland and coordinate cross-functional teams for our Swiss business.

The Swiss business comprises approximately £65 million across two distinct channels:
mass market and pharmacy. The primary purpose of this role is to drive the finance agenda, providing expert economic analysis to predict market performance against short
- and long-term targets in sales and profitability accurately. The role owner will proactively create transparency, assess risks, enhance processes and tools, ensuring the achievement of targets and minimizing unexpected surprises. This position will challenge all Swiss departments to meet financial delivery expectations and collaborate across boundaries to ensure budget targets are met.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure the timely delivery of financial targets for the Commercial business segment.
  • Provide strategic input to the company and collaborate with the DACH area to define finance strategy.
  • Provide strong leadership to the department and the broader organization; educate, coach, and develop team members.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to elevate the performance of functions within the department and across the company.
  • Coordinate accounting activities within the hub, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Ensure accurate reporting in compliance with relevant standards, including internal (IFRS) and external (local GAAP) requirements for legal entities.
  • Timely submission of accurate financial reports to stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
  • Conduct thorough balance sheet reviews, including detailed analysis of Working Capital, inventory provisions, bad debts provisions, and other current assets and liabilities.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors to manage all taxrelated matters effectively.
  • Ensure the accuracy of monthly and quarterly operating profit reports.
  • Continuously enhance business analysis to improve transparency, offering actionable insights to the executive team and the entire organization.
  • Provide timely and precise ad hoc analyses as required.
  • Drive the budget and latest forecast process by collaborating with the local management team.
  • Act as a business partner to all functions within the organization.
  • Oversee internal and external audits and ensure prompt resolution of audit issues.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous exposure and handson experience in a finance function, including providing financial support to a business area or team.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, evaluation, forecasting, strategic planning, and decisionmaking.
  • Direct experience with financial software and systems, ensuring familiarity with relevant tools and technologies.
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Experience in managing or collaborating with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate the legal, financial, and ethical implications of industryregulated principles.
  • Fluency in English and German, with additional languages considered a plus.
