A day in the Life:


Technical and managing responsibilities:

- operates and coordinate Materials Management, including processes of incoming goods, store of materials, control the issues of goods to other departments, process outgoing goods, control correct shipping of goods and products and monitor these shipments, ensure cGMP storage and flow of raw materials, co-operate in other logistics activities.

  • Effectively leads the logistics team, including ensuring that all the work carried out aligns with departmental and BU procedures, and GMP requirements and policies. Ensuring that personnel is adequately trained and give input concerning career development and training plan.
- responsible for implementing and running the planning and S&OP processes in cooperation with all partners (planner, schedulers, business management etc.).
- responsible for inventory and transactional accuracy
- reports KPIs and manages core processes to achieve target response times
- responsible for management of all mechanical devices / handling equipment assigned to Warehouse & Logistics
- responsible for identification and escalation of goods nonconformities for deviation management and/or issuance of formal complaints
- responsible for compliance regarding Warehousing and Logistics
- responsible for implementing goods process flows and build future plans to an improving goods issue
- responsible for receiving Warehouse construction and improvement projects and driving operational readiness to progress from construction to operations.


Keys to Success:


Education:


  • BS/BA required in Supply Chain/Logistics or Material management or related field.

Experience, knowledge and skills:


  • Minimum 7 years progressive Warehouse Operations experience linked to manufacturing activities, ideally in pharma or similar industries where product control and traceability is a requirement; cold chain experience would be beneficial
  • Expertise in enterprise business systems and business software (SAP, eBR / MES, Trackwise, DMS)
  • Expertise in Material Management, planning
- and S&OP processes

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Knowledge of working capital and operational investment
  • Ability to efficiently manage and effectively lead and cultivate innovation, collaborate with and lead crossfunctional teams and projects
  • Must be well organized and able to work independently with mínimal direction
  • Experience identifying and performing lean, process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and German language
