English & French Language Training and Assessment Expert (60%):

Our Language Proficiency and Testing team is an important part of People and Learning Development and the Skyguide Academy.

Our goal is to identify, develop, and strengthen the language competences of all Skyguide people so that they are successful in their jobs and in working together.

In addition, we must meet the requirements for Air Traffic Controllers, Air Navigation Services Employee (ANSE) as required by law and test their language competences at regular intervals.

In your role, after an extensive internal induction and training (internally and through accredited training organizations, such as Eurocontrol), you will be responsible for organizing and conducting tests/assessments, but also for the development of the language competences of our colleagues in the French region.

Your responsibilities:

Ensure quality conduct of English Language Proficiency in Aeronautical Communication testing and training for the operational Skyguide units, as well as for the student Air Traffic Controllers, ANSE, and other Skyguide personnel
Manage the regional language administration and act as the deputy of the national language administrator
Act as the point of contact for matters involving languages, testing, administration, and support in the French region
Coordinate in close cooperation with the national language administrator, planning team, and with respective units across Skyguide involved in the planning and administration of all tests including assignments of the examiners, and other events with relation to languages
Identify suitable language development solutions and conduct some of these developments or find external solutions/partners
Conduct team up and learn language events in the French region
Properly and accurately handle, maintain, update and archive documentations according to our processes

Your profile:

Fluent in French and English language
Holding a CELTA or equivalent qualification
Experienced in adult learning theory, training and methodologies
Proven track record in English training and testing and good knowledge in French Training for specific purposes (business language, conversations)
Proficient in MS Office and desired knowledge in Articulate and Learning Management Systems
Ability and motivation to develop and design language elearning training materials
Excellent communication skills
Openminded team player with good interpersonal skills
Pragmatic approach and ability to work autonomously
Analytical mindset, critical thinking and problem solving
Basic knowledge in aviation (environment, language used)
